William (Bill) Jennings has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for molesting his son and is currently incarcerated at CSP Solano, in Vacaville CA

The son lived with his mother in Oregon from the time the child was two years old.  The mother remarried and in May of 1995 the 13 year old son and 15 year old daughter moved to California to live with us because they did not "get along with their new step-father". 

By September the son was unhappy and wanted his Dad and Mom to get rid of their spouses and remarry. When Bill told his son this was not possible he got very angry.  At the same time the son was caught by his sister molesting our 5 year granddaughter. We called CPS to get some help with the son, but they claim they never received that call.  One evening a few nights later the son called the police and CPS and told them he was being molested. 

The son was immediately pulled out of the home, we were never able to talk to him again.  18 months later Bill was found guilty of molesting this child daily/weekly from the time he was 4 years old until the time the child was removed from our home. Bill was also charged with lewd conduct with a child over the age of 14.

The son was 13 when he was removed from the home.  There was never a physical exam of the child, the DA's investigator never came to the home, never talked to my brother who shared a room with this child.  When I spoke to this investigator I was informed that children do not lie and if the child said this- it has happened.
