If the rotten public school system teaches kids ANYTHING, foremost would be "self esteem".   "I am the smartest and most important thing that ever lived".  Spoiled Rotten.  Self-centered.  Selfish.  No self-discipline.

Several school programs (The Great Body Shop and DARE, for two examples) blatantly teach kids how to turn their parents in if they are unhappy with them.

A parent's survival hinges around NOT ANGERING the kids.  

The Child Abuse Industry stands ready to destroy parents on the flimsiest pretense.  Kids offer to wield their terrible power to destroy their family to GET THEIR WAY.  

The kid rebels, and the parents are forced to concede.  First small things, and progressing over the years to larger issues.  With each "win" the child becomes ever more spoiled and drunk with his power.  

Parents are in absolute terror about what "Johnny can do to them". 

It has become exceedingly popular to put these kids on "Chemical Parenting"-  Ritalin, Adderol.  Schools have been FORCING parents to put their kids on drugs to control the behavior by threatening to call the CPS if parents don't agree. Currently politically correct.  It is extremely unpopular to remember a generation or two ago, brats were spanked. There were NO dangerous kids and a behavior problem was chewing gum in class.

In many states, ALL discipline is FORBIDDEN-  Excessive time outs;  Excessive grounding;  Denying a meal;  Making them do chores;  Even FORCING a kid to go to school- All CHARGEABLE as ABUSE.

Parents are left with ONE OPTION: Let the kid "raise himself".  

But parents are ALSO in terror of what is going to happen when "Johnny finally gets in trouble with the law".

When Johnny finally does end up in Juvenile for shoplifting, property damage, or ASSAULT, the parents start "hearing the government saber rattle" of extreme FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for Johnny's actions- the next option is to ASK THE AUTHORITIES FOR HELP.

"Sure, we can help".  "We need you to sign these forms".  

It is a "temporary" custody relinquishment, which they represent that they "have to do" in order to be able to "help".

The kid sees a mental health clinician.  A disorder is assigned from the DSM IV.  The kid goes to fostercarceration or other facility as "special needs" (thereby enhancing his Federal Funding Stream) until he ages out at 18 to be dumped on the streets with no diploma, GED, job skills, or even basic LIFE SKILLS.

You would suppose that would be the end of it.  

BUT WAIT!  THERE'S MORE!  

Depending on your financial status and/or IF YOU HAVE YOUNGER CHILDREN, the CPS WILL come back at you to "double dip".  

The "out of control" teenager has NO PROBLEM saying all sorts of terrible things about you, especially since the state has fully informed him that he doesn't have to obey anybody or respect any authority.  The state puts HIM in charge of their agency:  "What do YOU want us to do?"  He is in "nirvana" that he can go to hell in a hand basket, and the state will help him get there.  So he can't resist the opportunity to REALLY KICK HIS PARENT'S BUTT for ever trying to make him behave.

If you have any income at all, the CPS will have you found to be the CAUSE of the kid's behavior through some sort of "abuse" and they will go after you for CHILD SUPPORT.  And criminalize you at the same time.

They will develop "concerns" about the "safety" of your YOUNGER CHILDREN and force you to take their "parenting classes", psych evals, and "counseling" with THEIR CONTRACTORS.  The more you tell them (you didn't think you had "confidentiality" did you?) the more words they have to TWIST to make you look like a monster.

The CPS can EASILY write up a bogus "assessment" finding you such a "threat of harm" or "negligent" that they scoop up all your kids in a white van.  If you would like, they can have a nice police officer point a gun at you while they are doing it.

Then you can spend the next 2 years playing "Monkey Jump- How High?" while your babies are raped and beat up *OR KILLED* in foster homes before they TPR (Termination of Parental Rights) and adopt your CUTE BABIES out.  If you do get your kids back, they are deeply traumatized by what CPS put them through.

Or, in some states like OREGON, the CPS is so BRAZEN that they just skip the formalities of "law".  Your kids disappear into the system, the CPS never charges you with anything, and the state's attorneys and courts stonewall you until you can't fight anymore.  Or they just throw you in jail to shut you up and get rid of you.

No, this is NOT the "exceptional travesty".

CPS does it every day, in every state.  Parents are sabotaged at every turn.
