Real Wars Started for Phony Reasons

As some of you might guess, I am Class of '69.  My peers learned all about government mendaciousness early.

Lyndon B. Johnson embroiled us in a WAR in Vietnam by LYING to us about the "Gulf of Tonkin Incident".  Turns out, NOTHING happened, and the level of public disgust finally became so over-whelming that the government had to back us out.  So they just abandoned it, made the lives my peers lost pointless and the living who returned were painted as villains.

Bush II got us into Iraq based on LIES by "intelligence operatives" about "fissionable nuclear materials from Africa" or something like that.

Looking back at history, CPS was started by a FOSTER CHILD being abused by her FOSTER MOTHER.

So in the great Himmler style, the officials who are doing the evil under the banner of "the greater good" become the Heroes and those innocents they victimize are the ones who get the blame.

The Useful Idiot, Rozita Swinton

So we come to the Great Texas War on the FLDS.

This Mess in Texas was started by a series of phone calls from a "desperate 16 year-old pregnant child bride" allegedly calling from the Texas FLDS "Yearning For Zion" ranch to anti-FLDS activist Flora Jessop.

As it turns out, this caller was in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she certainly was NOT a FLDS member (FLDS apparently doesn't accept blacks).  The cops found "tons" of FLDS books, pamphlets, newspaper articles, etc. in her apartment.  And it was quickly learned the 33-year-old had a history of phoning police as child in distress.

Apparently, this was BEFORE the raid on the FLDS ranch.

So apparently, Texas CPS KNEW the third-hand information in the affidavit they were acting on was FALSE.

Or at least, soon DID know it was not only false, but malicious.

That was of no consequence to Texas.  They had been plotting for several years in how to rid themselves of this embarrassing and disgusting cult.  One of the things that obviously had to be fixed was the Texas age of consent

14 – parental consent and/or permission of judge required. Below age of consent parties need parental consent and permission of judge. No younger than 14 for males and 13 for females.

Texas Changed Marriage Age to Restrict Rights of Polygamy Ranch Residents

Much has been written, in recent weeks, about the number of teen girls entering into "spiritual" underage marriages at a Texas ranch from which some 462 children were removed last month.

However, it was not until the fringe religious group that operates the ranch, the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, moved to Texas that legislators adopted a law that made marriages of teens under age 16 illegal, Reuters reports.

"There was suspicion, speculation and concern and we knew they were the most obedient followers of Warren Jeffs and people were alarmed," says Harvey Hilderbran, a state legislator who represents the area in which the Yearning for Zion ranch is located. He was the sponsor of a bill that became law in 2005 that raised the age at which children can marry, if their parents consent, from age 14 to age 16.

...And, as other coverage indicates, it appears that authorities at least arguably may have targeted the FLDS for more stringent enforcement of violations of the law that are routinely overlooked in other settings.

Texas was primed and ready for any excuse to rid themselves of the FLDS and ANY excuse would do, even as phony as Rozita Swinton.  The war against FLDS is on, and the first "collateral damage" was the stealing of the children.
